I've been constantly listening to these albums on my iPod recently. They're all just so individually unique and amazing to be honest.
"Circus"-Britney, I love you, and it hurts that I can't go see you in concert for the first time now that I'm old enough to go see you. This album is just perfection and Britney's greatest. (Blackout is such a close second) It has it's catchy pop songs that made you originally love her and those fantastic electropop songs that Britney has become.
"Tonight: Franz Ferdinand"-So I'm really digging their new sound to be honest. I don't get most of the hate. It has it's chill moments and then it has it's fast moments. It works so cohesively. I particularly love listening to "Tonight" when I'm getting ready to go out.
"The Fame"-When Lady Gaga first appeared in my life last summer while watching her perform on the Miss Universe pageant, I thought, "Ssoo cheesy!". But after that day I had "Just Dance" stuck in my head for days! So I was intrigued and I decided to give the girl a shot. And wow! Do I love her now! Honestly her album is so moving and fun. It works well when I work out, dance, go out, or even when I'm doing chores. She's what I believe to be the next Kylie Minogue. I honestly hope she doesn't fade into obscurity after this album.
"Santogold"-So Santogold is pretty reminiscent of M.I.A. to be honest. She has a pretty funky sound that has me playing her album on repeat when I'm in a chipper mood. It's definitely a good album and I can't believe I continued doubting myself on whether or not to get this. I thought it was going to be a quick and boring album with at least three to four good tracks. But I can't get enough of it, and I remember being disappointed when it finished because I wanted more.
"19"-I remember when I first heard Adele, that day I was telling a friend how much I love Amy Winehouse's music and how much I wanted her to get cleaned up and come out with another amazing album. Later that night I ended up watching Saturday Night Live as usual and guess whose a musical guest? Wow was I easily caught when I heard "Chasing Pavements" and "Cold Shoulder". Her voice is absolutely amazing, as are her lyrics and of course "19". Whenever I'm in a contemplative moo, I lay on my bed, listen to "19" and think about whatever is going through my mind at the time. It just works, she just works. Here's hoping she gets the Grammy's, girl deserves it.
By the way....
Let me introduce to you.... BRICKY! :)

Yes, it's an old iPod; It's the very first iPod I ever got. And I decided to use it again. I was thinking about getting a regular sized iPod awhile back because I wanted a big fat one. But when I saw them at Wal*Mart, I noticed that Apple has changed the big chunky iPods to big slender iPods. And made of aluminum to add. Oh well, it makes them more Eco-friendly so that's what truly matters right?
Any who, I remember that I had this iPod so I went on a scavenger hunt for it. After I found it, I set it to charge and remembered how it takes eight hours to completely charge successfully; as opposed to these iPods that take just about two or even less hours. Yes, you read right, eight whole hours. I literally had it charging from the time I was done with homework to the time I went to bed and that wasn't even eight hours. Want to know how old it is?

Yea, it's still in black and white. That's how old it is. Black and white and eight full hours to successfully charge. No videos, games (besides brick breaker), or even photos. Sucks right? But in my opinion, I actually like it. It's just so vintage! It's a vintage iPod. And it's super fat and makes a really loud clicking sound that I love about it. Or maybe it's just a parental affection, that I love my babies regardless the situation?
I actually didn't have a name when I first had it. Bricky barely got his name last week. I took it to school to show it to my friends and they all loved it. And when I showed it to Danielle, she showed it to Rhyan and called him a brick. And that's basically how he got his name after that. Crazy, interesting story I know. :)
